Here’s how to install PRIMA IPTV on your Firestick in under 10 minutes.
What you’ll need
Amazon Firestick
The Firestick 4K Max is recommended for the best 4K experience. The Firestick Lite and HD also work perfectly in Full HD.
Internet connection
Wi-Fi or Ethernet (via an OTG adapter). A minimum of 15 Mbps for Full HD, 25+ Mbps for 4K.
PRIMA subscription
Contact PRIMA on WhatsApp to get your credentials: server URL, username, password.
Hot Player app
The IPTV player recommended by PRIMA, optimized for Firestick with a remote-friendly interface.
Installation in 4 steps
1Enable unknown sources
- Go to Settings (the gear icon at the top right)
- Select My Fire TV
- Tap Developer Options
- Enable Apps from Unknown Sources — confirm by selecting “Turn On”
You only need to do this once. It lets you install apps from outside the Amazon Appstore.
2Download and install Hot Player
- From the home screen, search for “Downloader” in the Appstore and install it (a free Amazon app)
- Open Downloader and enter the URL provided by PRIMA to download the Hot Player APK
- Once downloaded, tap “Install”
- Once installed, tap “Open” to launch Hot Player
The exact Hot Player download URL is given to you by PRIMA support when you subscribe.
Get your PRIMA IPTV credentials
3Enter your PRIMA credentials in Hot Player
- Open Hot Player on your Firestick
- On the home screen, choose “Xtream Login”
- Enter the server URL provided by PRIMA (e.g. http://prima.server.com:8080)
- Enter your unique username and password
- Tap “Login” — Hot Player loads your complete PRIMA playlist
4Set up 4K quality and favorites
- Quality: In Settings > Player, select “Max quality” or “4K” if your connection exceeds 25 Mbps
- Moroccan favorites: Browse the “Morocco” category — long-press 2M, Arryadia, Al Aoula to add them to favorites
- Sport: Add beIN Sports 1, 2, 3 to favorites for quick access during matches
- Disk cache: In the advanced options, enable “Use disk cache” to reduce buffering when switching channels
Troubleshooting common issues
The stream freezes every 5 minutes
Check your internet speed from the Firestick. If it’s too low, switch to Full HD in the Hot Player settings. If the speed is fine (>15 Mbps), contact PRIMA support.
“Connection refused” error when logging in
Make sure the server URL is copied with no spaces or capital letters. Confirm your Firestick is properly connected to the internet. If the problem persists, contact PRIMA on WhatsApp.
Some channels don’t show up
Wait for the catalog to load completely (2–3 minutes on the first launch). If channels are still missing after a full reload, report it to PRIMA support.
Poor picture quality despite a good connection
In Hot Player > Settings > Player, check that the quality isn’t locked on “Auto low”. Select “1080p” or “4K” manually.
The Firestick heats up and slows down
Older models can overheat during long streaming sessions. Make sure there’s good airflow around the device. The Firestick 4K Max has better thermal management.
